Product Information
The bypass pin is used when manual or external control of the aircraft is required during towing operations. It allows the hydraulic nose wheel steering system to be temporarily disabled, so that all steering movements are performed exclusively by the tow tractor (aircraft tug). Failure to install the bypass pin while the hydraulic system is active may result in serious equipment damage, operator injury, and structural damage to the aircraft.
