Cookies Policy

Section 01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

They allow a site to remember basic preferences (such as a language version), keep a session stable, or — in the case of third-party cookies — let another company recognise your browser across the websites that embed its content. Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot harm your device.

This website does not need any cookies to work: you can block them all in your browser and every page, including the contact form, still works.

Section 02

What This Website Stores in Your Browser

aviatec.pl sets no cookies of its own — none for sessions, language or preferences. The language version is part of the page address, and the contact form works without a session.

The only thing the site itself writes to your browser is one entry in the browser's local storage (localStorage), which remembers that you have closed the cookie notice:

Note This entry is not a cookie: it is never sent to our server or to anyone else, and it contains no personal data — its value is the word "seen". The list above reflects the current setup of aviatec.pl.

Section 03

Third-Party Cookies: Google Maps on the Contact Page

The Contact page embeds an interactive Google map showing the location of our office. The map is loaded from Google as soon as the Contact page opens, without any click on your part.

The map is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and, for data processed in the United States, Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies in your browser — for example NID, CONSENT, SOCS, AEC and others listed in Google's own documentation. Google uses them to display the map, to remember map settings, for security, and for Google's own purposes described in its policies. We have no access to these cookies and do not control them.

What Google receives when the map loads, and on what legal basis, is described in Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.

If you prefer that Google is not loaded at all: do not open the Contact page — our e-mail address, telephone number and postal address are in the footer of every page — or block third-party cookies in your browser settings; the map still displays with third-party cookies blocked. The "Open the map" link under the map takes you to Google Maps in a new tab, on Google's own site and under Google's own terms.

Section 04

What We Do Not Use

Apart from the Google map on the Contact page, this website embeds no third-party content. We do not use:

analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar);
marketing or advertising cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads);
third-party tracking pixels;
cross-site profiling tools.

This means we do not build a behavioural profile of visitors, do not retarget you on other websites, and do not share visitor data with advertising networks.

Section 05

Managing Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Each browser provides its own cookie controls:

Blocking cookies does not affect this website. The local storage entry described in Section 02 is removed when you clear the site data for aviatec.pl in your browser; the cookie notice then simply appears again.
